Ingredients :

  1. 1 chicken (cut into 8 to 10 pieces)
  2. 4 tbsp parsley (chopped)
  3. 4 carrots (medium slice)
  4. 1 onion (sliced ​​or finely chopped)
  5. 4 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  6. 1 tbsp lime or lemon juice
  7. 1 tsp turmeric
  8. 1/4 tsp ginger powder
  9. 3 tbsp olive oil
  10. 1 cup green olives and pimento-stuffed olives
  11. 1 tsp salt (to taste)
  12. 1/2 tsp pepper

How to make :

  1. Put a saucepan on the stove over medium heat, then add the olive oil.
  2. Add the onions, garlic and chicken pieces.
  3. Add the spices like salt, pepper, ginger and turmeric.
  4. Make sure not to add too much salt, as you will add the olives later and the olives will be salty.
  5. The next step is to add lime or lemon juice.
  6. Add 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley.
  7. Saute chicken with vegetables for about 10 minutes.
  8. After that, add the carrots and hot water, the water capacity is at least until the chicken is submerged in the pot.
  9. Let it cook for about 20 minutes over medium heat until the chicken is tender.
  10. The next step is to boil the olives in water for 5 minutes, then rinse, drain and set aside.
  11. Return the chicken to check if it is cooked (soft), if it is green it is attached and cook together for 10 minutes.
  12. You have to make the sauce thick.
  13. Next remove the chicken pieces from the sauce and fry them in 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil.
  14. You can use a little taste, if it feels right to turn off the fire.
  15. Sprinkle with the remaining chopped parsley.
  16. Chicken in sauce and delicious with bread.
